We have an immediate opening for ourSouth Pasadena Cancer Clinic, with state of the art facilities, to support Dr. Christina Yeon, in her Oncology Practice.TheSouth Pasadena Cancer Centeris among the first in Los Angeles to offer RapidArc, a new advanced non-surgical treatment that destroys tumors. Using computerized image-guided technology, RapidArc conforms to the tumor, sparing healthy tissue and organs from radiation. In addition to its precision, RapidArc is up to 8 times faster than other advanced radiation therapies. Many treatments are as short as just a few minutes - giving patients more time to do the things they enjoy most.In addition, with expertise in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, South Pasadena Cancer Center surgeons provide patients with the latest treatment options that reduce recovery time and improve outcomes. Collaborating to discover, develop and implement innovative strategies for the prevention and treatment of cancer, our physicians bring nationally recognized expertise in cancer care and research to the local community.Requirements:This position requires an experienced Nurse Practitioner who wants to work to the full scope of practice. The role requires very strong oncology skills and will be the front line and initial consult of practice for the oncologist. The NP in this position will assist with managing a practice that consists of Breast Oncology and variety of general oncology patients, both newly diagnosed and patients receiving on-going treatment such as chemo/infusion and managing follow-up visits. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in an outpatient setting with specialty specific experience, must be a CA Licensed NP with current furnishing license, broad oncology expertise and excellent communication skills.
