<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Title: SCA Electronics Technician Maintenance 3 - Power ECU - RTS MED - Camp Parks, CALocation: USA-CA: CALIFORNIA-DUBLINJob Number:_1200MJKSCA Elect Tech Maint III (Power ECU Mechanic)RTS-MEDCamp Parks, CAEssential Job Functions:* Maintains, repairs, troubleshoots, modifies and installs various types of electronic equipment and related devices such as electronic transmitting and receiving equipment (e.g., radar, radio, television, telecommunication, sonar, and navigational aids); personal and main frame computers and terminals, industrial, medical, measuring, and controlling equipment; and industrial robotic devices.* Applies technical knowledge of electronics principles in determining equipment malfunctions, and applies skill in restoring equipment operation, evaluates performance and reliability of prototype or production mode, and recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.* Ability to interpret wiring diagram and schematics.* Must be able to effectively present hardware, software, and or subsystems problems to design and support engineering teams. Troubleshoots, updates, and configures Linux and Windows based operating systems during replacement and re-configuration of system computers network systems.* Utilize common and special purpose test equipment to isolate malfunctions and preformed repair actions.* Performs complex circuit equipment repair and modifications.* Performs maintenance scheduling IAW technical manuals and requirements.* Performs repairs and preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) in accordance with proper maintenance allocation charts for power generation equipment at the site. Performs corrective unit and intermediate maintenance on previously diagnosed malfunctions of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and their components. * Determines electrical requirements by calculating voltage, amperage, wattage, resistance, phase, and frequency. Recommends appropriate power generation equipment to accommodate specific electrical loads. Ensures total phase balancing. Tests and operates equipment as required and observes for evidence of abnormal operations.* Adjusts operating engines and mechanisms such as valves, carburetors, ignition points, governor control linkage, electric governors, alternators and regulators, and meters. Tunes and adjusts engines. Replaces components such as starters, fuel pumps, carburetors, generators, alternators, regulators, engines, control panels, wiring, gages, and frames.* Plans and organizes work and schedules. Performs and supervises the installation of authorized modifications on supported equipment. Applies management principles in establishing maintenance priorities, allocating workloads, and substituting parts per regulations. Assists in maintaining the non-medical maintenance library.* Assists the equipment records and repair parts technician in the following tasks related to power generation equipment. Performs ASL/PLL duties in manual and automated supply applications. Requests initial ASL/PLL from supply support activity (SSA) or develops and submits proposed ASL/PLL using applicable authorization documents. * Uses status cards and reconciliation listing provided by SSA to upgrade due-in records. Prepares requests for modification, cancellation, or follow-up of open requests to SSA. * Performs other duties as assigned by the Lead Vehicle/Heavy Equipment Repairman.* Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve unusually complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers'' manuals or similar documents. Examples of such problems include determining the location and density of circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, isolating malfunctions, and incorporating engineering changes.* Work typically requires a detailed understanding of the interrelationships of circuits. * Exercises independent judgment in performing such tasks as making circuit analyses, calc
