Receives, loads, segregates, stores, issues and delivers organizational supplies and equipment. Moves property to issue or transfer points. Protects cargo against pilferage, shifting or damage due to inclement weather through proper packing and loading procedures. Operates loaded or empty vehicles with or without trailers under all weather, road and terrain conditions. Operates material handling equipment assigned to or used at the site. Performs before, during and after vehicles and MHE checks and services on equipment utilized. Performs equipment recovery in a field environment.* Receives instruction on commitments, including time, reporting point, cargo, route and destination. In conjunction with supply personnel develops transportation asset requirements for material being shipped from the site. Verifies units of issue, description, quantity and condition of material being received or shipped from the site. Initiates documentation required to account for discrepancies in shipping and damage resulting from transportation of equipment.* Uses supply catalogs in identification, assembly and breakdown of supplies and equipment.* Prepares, reviews and corrects hand receipt inventory listings. Uses computers in performance of logistics tasks. Assembles, disassembles and reconstitutes supplies and equipment. Identifies, cleans and sorts supplies and equipment. Conduct risk assessments and risk mitigation. Ensure all safety and environmental requirements and considerations are implemented prior to the start of training or work.* Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Supply technician* Prepares finished products for shipment or storage by placing them in shipping containers, the specific operations performed being dependent upon the type, size, and number of units to be packed, the type of container employed, and method of shipment.* Work requires the placing of items in shipping containers, and may involve one or more of the following: knowledge of various items of stock in order to verify content, selection of appropriate type and size of container, inserting enclosures in container; using excelsior or other material to prevent breakage or damage, closing and sealing container, and applying labels or entering identifying data on container.Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:* Must be a U.S. Citizen.* Must have previous Army experience* Experience with inventory management, storage management,, or other supply activities.* Solid working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines preferred* Must have, or be able to obtain a current Class A
