Evaluate units on their ability to assemble, operate, disassemble, and maintain DEPMEDS and associated equipment, and provide on-the-spot correction and instruction to unit personnel during the evaluation process.* Instruct students on identifying and enforcing policies to ensure safe and appropriate medication usage; screening medications for drug-drug, drug-nutrient interactions or medical allergies; reporting medication related safety issues, procedures for requesting bulk orders, drug distribution to patient care areas, sterilization techniques, drug preparations for patient evacuations, drug destruction, drug and controlled substance accountability.* Be proficient in lecturing in classroom settings, small groups, and facilitating one-on-one hands on training.
