<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS <br> Must have 1-2 years experience as a line cook <br> Must possess current Food Handlers certification or be able to obtain it within the first 30 days of employment <br> Must be flexible and able to work check-in at the hotel <br> Must be able to multi-task <br> Previous experience is preferred, but employer is willing to train <br><br> SKILLS, DUTIES, AND PREFERENCES <br> Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperatures <br> Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment and experience <br> Wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables <br> Bake, roast, broil, and steam meats, fish, vegetables, and other food <br> Season and cook food according to recipes or personal experience <br> Portion, arrange, and garnish food, and serve food to waiters or patrons <br> Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests and answer telephones <br> Issue room keys and keep records of room availability <br> Record guest comments or complaints
