The candidate for this position should have strong experience maintaining COTS and developed software, proven experience in design, documentation and execution of complex installation procedures, and should be capable of reviewing, evaluating and deriving requirements for installation and deployments. The position will require working split shifts and weekends as the JSF flight test schedule dictates. The candidate will work remotely with the application development and systems engineering teams in Orlando, FL, and Ft Worth, TX, to learn the ALIS applications, and to request assistance when all conventional efforts are exhausted to correct system issues. The candidate must also be comfortable interfacing with all levels of program management, engineering, and customers.Standard Job Description Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
