<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Title: Fiduciary SpecialistLocation: CA-El SegundoThe Fiduciary Specialist reports to the Vice President and Chief Fiduciary Officer of Fidelity Personal Trust Company, FSB (FPTC). The position has both a trust administration and legal component, and acts as a support for both new and existing trust business. Responsibilities include: review trust documents for prospects interested in naming FPTC as trustee; ensure compliance with FPTC policies and procedures; assist trust administration with technical fiduciary issues and the administration of special assets held in trust.Major Responsibilities* Conduct detailed administrative review of trust documents for new trust business to ensure that FPTC may serve as trustee under its procedures and guidelines* Act as a critical component of the trust sales process by acting as the first point of contact for field representatives who have uncovered a trust opportunity. Interview field representatives to understand the client relationship, the trust and its beneficiaries, family dynamics, history of administration and other factors relevant to trust company acceptance.* Identify relevant issues and communicate same to sales officers, wealth management advisers, estate planning specialists, prospects, and/or prospect''s attorney and coordinate changes to trust documents or court action as appropriate* Provide synopsis of trust terms* Prepare appointment documents and review prior trustee removal or resignation documents* Present new trust business to FPTC New Business Committee as appropriate* Work with implementation team and trust administration to onboard new trust accounts* Process successor trustee documents and deliver instructions to trust administrators* Assist trust officers and administrators with daily ongoing client issues and tasks relating to trust administration* Assist trust administration with non-financial assets such as real estate and life insurance policies held in trust* Perform ongoing legal research to ensure that FPTC is compliant with applicable fiduciary state and federal statutes and regulations* Assist with ensuring that FPTC policies and procedures remain updated and are compliantEducation/Knowledge/Experience* J.D. required* Preferred 6 to 10 years of legal or risk experience with a law firm, trust bank or in the financial services industry* Securities licenses a plus* Working knowledge of trust products and services, income and principal accounting, personal and trust taxation, investments, trust and estate law, estate planning, and the laws and regulations that govern* Demonstrated success in legal or risk management environment* CTFA, CFP, or MBA encouragedSkills/Attributes* * Proven strong organizational skills and attention to detail* Ability to effectively interact with field representatives, outside attorneys and others in a positive, friendly and timely manner, understanding that they are the primary customers who must receive excellent customer service* Well developed written and verbal communication skills* Ability to adapt easily to a constantly changing environment, juggle multiple tasks and prioritize work to maintain efficiency* Ability to think analytically, strategically, and tactically* Demonstrated creative problem resolution* Ability to take initiative and work independently* Strong team orientation and ability to function as a team player* Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively at all levels of the organization* Ability to influence key decision makers through a combination of knowledge, reasoning, and relationships
