This person will be integral to the overall success in the day to day fight to protect our networks and our information while ensuring business success. Candidate will coordinate, collect and analyze information security events, perform threat or target analysis, and recommend course of actions. Ideal candidates will have familiarity, knowledge and experience with Host Based Intrusion Detection, Network Based Intrusion Detection, Wireless Intrusion Detection, Firewalls, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), Vulnerability Scanners, Computer Forensic Tools, VPN and Antivirus Tools.Basic Qualifications:* 5 years of related work experience* 2+ years network architecture and design experience* Experience with hands-on computer and network security* Able to interact with both information security and IT professionals* Experience with developing and presenting verbal and written technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences* Capable to define or improve an IT-related process* Certification in CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, SANS'' GSEC or similar widely recognized Information Security certification* Have a broad base of knowledge in IT technologies: Windows OS, network, virtualization, and cloud.* Able to work independently as well as a team member, and self-manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet set deadlinesResponsibilities:* Senior technical level position responsible for all domains of information security across corporate organizations.* Support existing client, vendor, and IT relationships, and achieve desirable project results* Research, evaluate and participate in the acquisition of new technology from an information security perspective* Assist in carrying out information security goals* Contribute and participate in information security problem-solving* Educate about information security subjects such as policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.* Create and maintain documentation on information security procedures and best practices* Conduct risk assessment and information security and compliance review* Participate in information security projects* Perform unit and integration testing of security components* Perform troubleshooting of information security incidents* Monitor and manage alerts from key security processes and technologies: DLP / Data Loss Prevention and Incident Management.* Gain technical skills as well as tactical understanding of information security and incident response conceptsRequired Education:* BS or BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Technology, or Information Assurance, or equivalent years of experience.Providing mission critical technical services and innovative solutions.Raytheon Company, with 2008 sales of $23.2 billion, is a technology leader specializing in defense, homeland security and other government markets throughout the world.
