<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>The Maintenance Supervisor/Foreman helps lead day-
to-day maintenance aspects of the maintenance
operation to include primary associated and
preventative maintenance and any warranty or non-
warranty repairs of buses. The Maintenance
Supervisor/Foreman will assist in over all
maintenance and utility staff. The Supervisor will
assure with management that all contractual
requirements are achieved. Duties include daily,
weekly, monthly and annual reporting
responsibilities. Successful applicant will work
with the Manager in the running of the day-to-day
fleet department..  Position will be provide
guidance for 75 paratransit vehicles with 6.0
diesel engines.  In addition, the Maintenance
Supervisor must have experience with Air
Conditioning systems, transmissions, emission
control systems, and wheelchair lifts. This is a
working supervisor position.  Successful applicant
will physically work on buses.
Requirements
Must be able to properly prioritize, implement and
manage work schedules, projects and assignments.
Must have the ability to track and control parts
inventories, vendors.

Must be able to communicate effectively with all
levels of staff in written and oral formats.
Must have computer skills including word
processing, spreadsheets and Microsoft outlook.
Must have technical competence with heavy duty
vehicle repair and preventive maintenance.
Must display initiative, professionalism, candor
and tact at all times.
Must have a minimum of 5 years fleet / vehicle
maintenance management experience.
Experience with transit bus and paratransit bus
maintenance .
Experience with union shop is preferred.
