Learn more atwww.genzyme.com.CLINICAL SCIENCE SPECIALIST - Seattle, NThe Clinical Science Specialist is a field-based sales position calling on Health Care Professionals involved in the treatment of End Stage Renal Disease (ERSD) and dialysis patients and responsible for all aspects of sales, market development and strategic business planning and implementation for all products of responsibility. Accounts and customers include nephrologists and their staffs (Renal Dietitians, Physician Assistants, Licensed Nurse Practitioners and social workers) both in private practice and in academic (teaching) centers and hospitals. The products promoted are Hectorol IV and Renvela. The person promoting these products should have a strong background of working through multi-level selling processes like pharmacy and therapeutics committees at hospitals, or some type of account selling background.The position will be responsible for the following: *      Achieving and exceeding assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas.*      Meeting and supporting the Therapeutics business unit objectives.*      Establishing and maintaining rapport with key customers.*      Achieve program objectives within a geographically defined area.*      Attend local, regional and national meetings as directed.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor&#39;s degree or equivalent, and a minimum of 5-8 years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience and knowledge of the position&#39;s territoryPreferred Qualifications:The successful candidate will have a proven sales track record as a top performer.Job: Sales
