The company employs approximately 91,000 people and markets its products in more than 130 countries.Job Description Since this is a field based position, the candidate can live anywhere within the continental United States.PRIMARY FUNCTION / PRIMARY GOALS / OBJECTIVES:To serve as executive liaison between Abbott PPD and key HMO and PBM National Account customers and manage overall business relationship for Abbott PPD. To execute this function the NMCE will:1. Perform all aspects of total account management for National Health Plans and Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs)to include; formulary access and positioning, rebate and discount contracting, pull-through sales execution, data agreements, persistency and compliance programs, relationship building and maximization of resource utilization.2. Offer internal consulting regarding managed care issues and their potential impact on PPD business and stay abreast of policy initiatives designed to impact PPD Disease areas.3. Manage timely and accurate communication flow throughout the organization.4. Work with Pricing Dept and GM of National Accounts to develop Divisional-contracting strategies.5.
