SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY:

<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Responsible for managing the Sales and Marketing of Nihon Kohdens Hematology products. <br> Formulates and executes sales and marketing plans and budgets consistent with and supportive of the Companys annual business plans.  Develops and oversees promotions including advertising, public relations, and promotional campaigns.  Ensures that professional business relations exist with customers and that their needs are met. <br> <br>
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES<br>
1.Assumes responsibility for the planning, development and implementation of effective sales and marketing strategies and policies.<br>
2.Assumes responsibility for formulating and executing effective product and distribution strategies and programs.<br>
3.Assumes responsibility for developing and implementing effective pricing strategies.<br>
4.Assumes responsibility for the development of effective promotion strategies.<br>
5.Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional business relations with customers, distributors, vendors, and trade contacts.<br>
6.Effectively supervises marketing personnel, ensuring optimal performance.<br>
7.Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned. <br> <br>
QUALIFICATIONS<br>
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION<br>
- Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience and training.  <br> <br>
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE<br>
- Knowledge and experience in the hematology and in vitro diagnostic IVD market and products required.  Thorough understanding of Company products, services, and competitors product lines. <br>
- Strong knowledge of promotion techniques, pricing policies, distribution channels, and public relations. <br> <br>
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED<br>
- Five years of related progressive experience with strong sales activity. <br> <br>
SKILLS/ABILITIES<br>
- Spanish speaking highly preferred. Portuguese speaking a plus.<br>
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and supervisory abilities.<br>
- Strong project management skills.<br>
- Solid leadership abilities.<br>
- Organizational and analytical skills.<br>
- Distribution management and distributor development.<br>
- Contract and price negotiation.<br> <br>
