We are looking for two Technical Support Specialists with medical device experience, preferably with wireless medical telemetry systems WMTS. <br><br>
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to customer inquiries, primarily by telephone <br>
- Work flexible schedules, which may include morning and evening shifts <br>
- Resolve customer technical issues through diligent research, reproduction, and troubleshooting <br>
- Work effectively and independently in a team environment <br>
- Balance multiple shifting priorities<br>
- Work collaboratively with other technical support staff, quality assurance, engineering, sales, marketing and operations <br>
- Document all technical inquiries, develop and review content for knowledge-base <br>
- Support scheduled 24x7x365 call rotation <br>
- Ability to travel up to approximately 25%<br><br>
QUALIFICATIONS<br><br>
Requirements<br>
- 4 to 6 years electronics/technology experience troubleshooting hardware, software, operating systems, performance issues and overall systems knowledge <br>
- We are looking for at least one technical support specialist with significant background and proficiency in Wireless Medical Telemetry Systems WMTS Radio Frequency RF systems specifically in a biomedical environment <br>
- Proficient in the use of equipment diagrams and blueprints <br>
- High touch customer/client relations/communications skills <br>
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written <br>
- Ability to travel up to approximately 25% <br><br>
Highly Preferred Skills<br>
- B.S. in Biomedical or Clinical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience <br>
- BMT Biomedical Tech degree/background/experience <br>
- MCSE or other MS certifications <br>
- Experience troubleshooting LAN/WAN <br>
- Proficiency using RF specific diagnostic tools including spectrum analyzers, antenna sweeps, RF power meters, service monitors, protocol analyzers and network sniffers<br><br>
