NOON DUTY SUPERVISOR

JOB SUMMARY:

<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Job Description-To supervise students during lunch periods and recess in the cafeteria, halls, rooms, restrooms and on the playground.
Duties  may include, but are not limited to the following - Supervises deportment and discipline of students on the playground, in the cafeteria, restrooms, and other areas where students may gather Monitors student behavior in assigned area to ensure compliance with school procedures. Assists students resolve minor conflicts on the playground Reports unauthorized activities and unauthorized persons on school grounds to the principal, vice-principal, or principals designee Ensures student promptness in returning to classrooms when the bell rings and collects any equipment left on the playground Assists students in the cafeteria and food service personnel May administer first aid Perform related duties as assigned by the principal.
Knowledge of-General needs and behavior of children  Indoor and outdoor recreational activities suitable for children Basic CPR and first aid.
Ability to-Work harmoniously with students and staff Effectively supervise students, work independently and make minor decisions within the framework of established guidelines, remain calm in stressful situations, understand and follow written and oral instructions, administer first aid
Experience and Training-Experience in youth related activities
Example-Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
Minimum Qualifications-High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements-Ability to exert 50 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, ability to stoop, climb, stand for long periods of time and perform physical labor, physical mobility and stamina to participate in activities which may be strenuous Sufficient hearing to hear normal conversation and ability to speak in an understandable voice with sufficient volume to be heard.
