Direct and supervise the activities of ammunition receipt, storage and issue. Supervise the management and control of the National Training Center (NTC) ASP supporting the Logistics Support Services (LSS) contract.MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:1. Operate the National Training Center Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) in a manner that is focused on safety, security, and customer service2. Provide Class V conventional ammunition supply support, i.e., ammunition and explosives (A&E), for authorized ASP customers.3. Conduct receipt, storage, and issue of ammunition, ammunition components, and ammunition related materiel IAW AR 385-64, AR 710-2, DA PAM 710-2-2, MIL-STD129-1, DOD 4145.19 R 1, TM 743-200 1, FM 9-38, TM 9-1300-206, FORSCOM 700-4,and other mandatory publications.4. Conduct ammunition visual inspection and certification; warehousing; ammunition and non-ammunition materiel salvage; receipt of user turn-in; packaging A&E for shipment; training of Contractor ammunition personnel; ammunition safety during A&E operations; ASP entry control5. Support EOD activities and ASP fire fighting plan and fire prevention.6. Provide physical security of A&E, supplies, materiels, facilities and equipment IAW with DOD 5100.76-M, AR 190-11, AR 190-13, AR 380-5, FORSCOM Reg 700-4 and other mandatory publications.7. Provide Access Control Personnel at the ASP Main Gate during normal duty hours.8. Ship residue IAW disposition instructions from Stock Control.9. Coordinate with the Accountable Officer (AO) and conduct inventories, including pre-inventory location surveys and post-inventory causative research.10. Operate and utilize the salvage yard and residue building located within the ASP as a temporary holding area for all A&E residue awaiting disposition.11. Performs other duties as assigned.MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:Personal computer and other general office equipment. Standard Army Ammunition System-Modernization (SAAS-MOD).WORKING ENVIRONMENT:Work is generally conducted in an office environment and at project work areas. Duties, however, may involve the conduct of work outdoors with potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions.PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:Work may require lifting up to 50 lbs., stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical dangers and chemical or hazardous agents. Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision and hearing protective devices. Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and published work rules.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.High School graduate or equivalent; Associate Degree is desirable. Military experience and training in an ammunition-related field desired.Experience:The ASP Supervisor shall have a minimum of five years of experience in managing an Ammunition Supply Point. Must meet or exceed the ammunition technical qualifications required of a U.S. Army Senior Ammunition Non-Commissioned Officer.Skills:Must have successfully completed a U.S. Army warrant officer management course (890A) or non-commissioned officer MOS 55Z40/89Z40 (Ammunition Specialist) or equivalent civilian acquired occupational skills critieria contained in AR 611-201. Must possess excellent computer, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills.SUPERVISORY/BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervises a staff of over 50 employees.Cleara
