<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>6687BRAdvertised Position Title Class III Supply Point SupervisorDivision Mission SystemsWork Location CA, Fort IrwinJob Description THIS POSITION IS PENDING CONTRACT AWARDPOSITION SUMMARY:Supervises and directs the Supply Department s CL III operation (Bulk and Retail) supporting rotational units and permanent party at the National Training Center (NTC) and Fort Irwin. Oversees the receipt, storage, maintenance, and issuing of retail and bulk fuel and package petroleum items.MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:1.Ensures all fuel depot receipts and retail issues are reconciled daily.2.Enforces and practices sound safety and environmental procedures as prescribed in Government regulations including proper handling and disposition of HAZMAT.3.Enforces customer safety procedures and reports unsafe acts.4.Ensures assigned drivers are trained to safely operate and maintain all assigned Fuel tankers.5.Ensures monitoring of daily opening/closing innage gauge readings and records the results.6.Compiles data and prepares reports as required.7.Coordinates with Production Control to determine the CL III package stock requirements.8.Monitors work performance of the employees to ensure they are in compliance with the PWS and all Army regulations pertaining to their assigned tasking.9.Ensures that all employees are always in compliance with all established Safety Policies and Regulations.10.Ensures safeguarding of all Army Property and Equipment.11.Implements Work Performance Training when required.12.Operates Fuel Tankers/Trucks when required to include fueling/defueling storage tankers within the Fleet.13.Performs fuel gauging and accounting duties14.Operates trucks, MHE, and special purpose (SPE) equipment associated with petroleum distribution.15.Fuels vehicles and stationary equipment.16.Oversee daily PMCS on associated equipment.17.Maintains the integrity of the "Bulk Fuel Quality surveillance Program".18.Performs other duties as required.MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:Personal computer and other general office equipment. Government furnished equipment (GFE) required for the receipt, storage and delivery of petroleum products.WORKING ENVIRONMENT:Work is generally conducted in an office environment and at project work areas. Duties, however, may involve the conduct of work outdoors with potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions.PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:Work may require lifting up to 50 lbs., stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical dangers and chemical or hazardous agents. Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision and hearing protective devices. Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and published work rules.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.High School diploma or equivalent. HAZMAT certification required. Prior U.S. Army MOS 92F qualification or equivalent civilian acquired occupational skill criteria contained in DA PAM 611-21.Experience:A minimum of five years of progressive experience supervising retail and bulk fueling operations. Minimum five years experience receiving, storing, issuing and maintaining accountability of POL products, and in operating bulk and retail mobility fuel supply equipment and facilities. Minimum five years experience in quality surveillance of POL products.
