Maintain accountability, issue, repair, inventory, storage, replacement and turn-in of any CREW training device. Support services may include routine operational testing, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, parts or components replacement, or complete installation/de-installation of CREW systems. Services may further include inspecting, testing, servicing, adjusting, aligning and tightening as appropriate to keep CREW systems and their parts or components serviceable. Conduct inspections, record equipment deficiencies on appropriate forms, provide minor repairs to ensure equipment is fully mission capable, and accomplish all corrective actions required to ensure serviceability prior to the next training event. Maintain and re-condition CREW devices at the end of each training event to include operational testing, as well as furnishing necessary labor, supplies, parts, and other materials. Receive, ship, move, and securely store devices and materials. Responsible for physically loading, unloading and other material handling tasks incidental to this function. Ensure materials are stored and handled per the manufacturer&rsquo;s recommendations and government regulation. Maintain all issued CREW systems issued to NTC and Fort Irwin and process CREW systems, parts and components into the loan inventory and make them available for loan to authorized account holders. Maintain legible accountability markings on CREW systems, as well as their parts and components. Implement electronic inventorying and accountability measures (e.g. bar coding, scanning, electronic document management, centralized data repositories, etc.) where there use would enhance the Government&rsquo;s delivery and support of the training mission.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral. Must be able to lift 35 pounds. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :REQUIRED: High School diploma or equivalent. Technical training or Associates degree from an accredited college or university in a related field desired. Must be able to handle multiple tasks, maintain confidentiality, and be detailed oriented.  Minimum two years experience in a similar position.
