<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>6682BRAdvertised Position Title Supply Department ManagerDivision Mission SystemsWork Location CA, Fort IrwinJob Description THIS POSITION IS PENDING CONTRACT AWARDPOSITION SUMMARY:The Supply Department Manager is responsible to the Project Manager (PM) for the overall planning and execution of the supply program including the ASP and DSSA supporting the Logistics Support Services (LSS) contract.MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:1.Manages supply planning and coordinating department workloads to optimize use of resources to include personnel, equipment, tools and facilities.2.Manage and direct CL I, II, III(P), III(B), IV, V, and IX (ASL-PLL) and other designated supply functions.3.Maintain and manage two Forward Distribution Points (FDPs) providing Class IX and customer assistance supply support to all Fort Irwin rotational brigades.4.Provide Stock Control services and manage the authorized stockage list (ASL) and non-stockage list (NSL) assets located in the FDP using SARSS1, Materiel Release Order Control System (MROCS), and Personal Data Collection Device (PDCD).5.Performs flow analysis and identifies and implements improvements.6.Prepares, analyzes and briefs reports as required. Recommends solutions to problems indicated by analysis of trends, or those identified by management and/or the customer.7.Establishes programs to meet daily mission and contingency mission requirements.8.Responsible for the efficient use and monitoring of SARSS and ALIMS.9.Provides management direction and oversight to include overseeing day to day warehouse operations. This may include but is not limited to storage, inventories, equipment issue and preparation of supporting documentation.10.Works with and in conjunction with other departments to accomplish all required tasks.11.Monitors and evaluates employee work performance to ensure compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Army regulations.12.Ensures that employees are in compliance with all established Safety Policies and Regulations.13.Ensures safeguarding of all Army Property and Equipment.14.Implements Work Performance Training when required.15.Performs other duties as assigned.MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:Personal computer and other general office equipment.WORKING ENVIRONMENT:Work is generally conducted in an office environment and at project work areas. Duties, however, may involve the conduct of work outdoors with potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions.PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:Work may require lifting up to 50 lbs., stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical dangers and chemical or hazardous agents. Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision and hearing protective devices. Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and published work rules.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.High School graduate or equivalent; Associate Degree is desirable. Military experience and training in a supply-related field desired.Experience:The Supply Department Manager shall have a minimum of five years of experience in a supply environment with specialized experience in managing a variety of supply functions to include Bulk and Retail Mobility Fuels Supply Points, Ammunition Supply Point, and Direct Support Supply Activity. Must have training in logistics or supply and the Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARSS) or equivalent civilian acquired occupational skill criteria contained in DA PAM 611-21. Associates Degree or higher is desirable.Skills:Must have successfully completed a U.S. Army commissioned officer/warrant officer management course, non-commissioned officer MOS 92Z (Senior Logistician) or equivalent civilian acquired occupational skills.
