Additionally, the SSA will be involved with education and mentorship, supporting the delivery framework, development of technical documentation, and advanced topics research, infrastructure design documents. The SSA will interact at multiple levels within Visa while demonstrating strong technical skills, thought leadership, and commitment.Responsibilities:* Responsible   for the creation and management of Enterprise Security Standards, Design   Patterns, Reference Architectures, Sub-Domain Strategies and Roadmaps.* Analyzes   and defines security requirements for networks and systems* Applies   security design principles to develop security solutions that align to   security architectures* Provides   a strategic point of view for security solutions that can be impacted by new technologies (cloud , mobility, virtualization), and   business drivers (M&A, new business models)* Develops   and carries out the strategic direction of    security engineering projects to meet internal requirements* Works   with Technology Leads, Business Architects, and Solution Architects to   translate functional and non-functional requirements into reusable   solution designs that meet business needs and are consistent with   Enterprise Security Standards, Architectures and Strategies.* Collaborates   with other engineering and architecture counterparts to develop security   solutions to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders* Works   with the Enterprise Technology Risk Management to support the Information   Technology Risk Management process which evaluates Business IT initiatives   for their potential impacts on the enterprise risk posture.Experience* 10    years of information security experience with minimum 8 years of design,* Experience   creating technical documentation, including product documentation,   technology and process best practices, and technical whitepapers.* Strong   working experience working with the following security technologies:   Firewall, IDS/IPS, Vulnerability Management, WAF, WiFi, Mobile security,   DLP, Digital Certificates, Encryption and Authentication techniques.* Solid   understanding of and ability to speak authoritatively to security   principles such as virtualization, cloud technologies, access control.* 5 years   experience in Security Architecture, with a minimum of 5 years of   experience designing and implementing infrastructure in a multi-tenant large   Datacenter environment and/or cloud computing environment.* Proven   ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues at Expert   level.* Experience   integrating multiple vendor products using custom tools and approaches.Qualifications* Preferred   certifications include: CISSP, CCSE, VCP, MCSE, CCIE Security, CCNP   Security.* Hands-on   experience and strong understanding of technology, particularly as related   to Enterprise Security.* Strong   cross-domain and cross-functional knowledge that will enable design of the   best possible security technology solutions.* Has   solid understanding of the SSDLC process and follows the process to   effectively develop and design solutions.* Bachelors   degree in engineering, computer science, information security, or   information systems with relevant security and end point engineering   certifications* Strong   understanding of relevant Principles, Best Practices, and Industry   Standards to deliver a best in class Security Architecture (PCI, SOX,   NIST, ISO)* Demonstrates   excellent analytical and problem   solving skills* Ability   to function as an individual contributor and mentor/leader detached from   the corporate environment.* Ability   to handle/manage multiple simultaneous priorities, deadlines, and   deliverables.* Maintains   knowledge of leading network a
