<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Large and growing company is hiring multiple and experienced Sr. Drug Safety Specialists to join their drug safety and operations team supporting multiple therapeutic areas.       The Senior Drug Safety Specialist will be focused in case processing of adverse event (AE) and serious adverse event (SAE) data in a timely manner and with high quality for both investagational/clinical pharmaceutical products along with commercialized products. The Senior Drug Safety Specialist will have some direction from manager however will be independently responsible for establishing work priorities. Sr. Safety Specialist will use medical background and experience in pharmacovigilance to interpret case-related information including medical conditions, lab results and procedures to compile comprehensive narrative summaries. Sr. Drug Safety Specialist will also participate in quality control of data entries by other team members. Safety Specialist will meet the metrics in a high-volume workflow and also act as a mentor for more junior Drug Safety Associates. Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor&#39;s Degree and 3+ years experience in Drug Safety including hands on experience in case processing and narrative writing. MD, PharmD, and RN degrees are desired. Candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, experience in safety databases and data entry experience. This is a 6-12+ month contract opportunity with a quickly growing department that has a track record of hiring full-time employees from its contractor base.
