<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Job Details:* The Epic Applications Specialist, Sr. will support our clinical application teams with the planning, coordination, oversight in the development of test specifications, and collaborate with Clinical Application Managers and other leadership in the creation of overall test strategies in order to help ensure effective operation for assigned customers.Experience summary:Must possess an excellent understanding of project and system lifecycles, including initiation, completion, and a post-completion audit. Candidate must have demonstrated the ability to effectively work with IT management and staff, hospital management, customers, vendors and consultants during the course of the projects. Must possess a sound understanding of technology and must be able to technically lead and manage staff in their projects. Able to mentor staff, technical as well as project leads on their tasks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required along with the ability to deliver and manage presentations. Must be able to multi-task and manage several projects and issues concurrently with a high level of performance. Must have the ability to write detailed test plans and test cases and demonstrate knowledge regarding the full life-cycle testing experience.Qualifications:* BS degree or related professional healthcare experience.* Preferred 8-years&#x2019; experience inthe Information Technology industry to include five years of experience as a senior analyst and/or IT project management role, and to include two years of professional experience in a Quality Assurance Testing position OR, an equivalent combination of education and experience.* Healthcare experience preferred.* Must be certified in Epic (any module).* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus but is not required.MemorialCare Health System:This is a full-time permanent position and our compensation package is competitive and commensurate with experience.
