Review affected EOBs to determine the source of the variance
Follow-up to resolve variances
Develop and maintain prorating rules and reimbursement tables such as CPT4 and APC rates based on contracted and governmental reimbursement rates
Collaborate on reimbursement objectives with accounting, business development, and patient financial services
Responsible for monitoring and communicating third party contract issues and payer adjudication errors, prorating calculation errors, admitting errors and coding issues to appropriate party for resolution
Responsible for transferring accounts to responsible team members in Patient Financial Services
