<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Job Descriptions:The primary position of the Wafer Fab Equipment Maintenance Technician is to maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and perform general, routine and preventative maintenance of all cleanroom and lab processing and metrology equipment.Job Responsibilities:* Performs electro-mechanical root cause troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.* Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles equipment according to operating manuals, schematics, blueprints, etc.* Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform equipment checks.* Works with process engineers to understand process-equipment interactions and limitations relative to operating specs.* As needed, modifies equipment to improve up-time or overall process performance.* Performs routine preventative maintenance on tools in accordance with equipment specifications.* Support production as needed.* Work with vendors for technical assistance and support.* Maintain critical spare parts inventory.Safety Responsibilities:* Participate as a member of the ERT (Emergency Response Team)* Maintain certifications for response to emergencies (HAZCOM, HAZOPER, FIRST-AID, CPR, ERT, ETC.) as required.* Able to properly use safety equipment to analyze risks and emergencies (SCBA, Respirator, Drager, MST Gas Leak Detection, etc.)Reporting Relationship:Reports directly to Equipment Engineering Manager.Required Experience:Experience and Technical Skills Required:* Requires at least 5+ years of cleanroom equipment maintenance experience.* Must be able to work in a class 1,000 cleanroom* Solid computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office required.* Skills related to this position include, but not limited to, both reactive and preventative maintenance of all equipment including dry-etch, wet-etch, deposition, photolithography, oxidation, and metrology along with supporting equipment.Minimum Education, License, Certification Required:AA in applied sciences or electronics (preferred)5+ years direct experience in a semiconductor cleanroomPhysical Requirements:Physical health must be sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position.Keyword: vacuumFrom: Soraa Inc.
