<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Environmental and Safety Manager needed for Winery/Distillery/Fruit Juice Processing Facility located in Fresno. Liaison for all regulatory authorities and government visitors. Responsible for maintaining and updating Risk
Management Program. Develops and implements risk reduction and regulatory compliance programs which address but not limited to, safety, sanitation, environment, hazardous materials and emergency response. Generates, submits, manages and stores all necessary internal and external reports and documents. Inspects all company properties, operations, work environments, machinery and vehicles to evaluate safety practices, sanitary conditions, internal and external regulatory compliance through general safety plant inspections. Works closely with managers and supervisors and assists them to schedule and coordinate the implementation of all corrective action. Responsible for overseeing the hot work, confined space and fall protection programs which includes the issuance of work permits and inspections of related safety equipment. Devises emergency and other mandatory plans in consultation with the local law enforcement authorities, emergency response departments and other appropriate consulting agencies. Implements and keeps current all such plans and programs by properly organizing and training Vie-Del employees. Responsible for overseeing the upkeep of grounds and ponds. Determines and enforces maintenance regulations concerned with disposal of all waste, both hazardous and non-hazardous, solid and liquid waste, release of regulated substances, pest control and other environmental and public health requirements by developing and implementing the appropriate waste disposal programs. Bachelors Degree from a four year college or university with an interdisciplinary background in appropriate fields and five years related experience or equivalent combination.
