The VA Central California Health Care System, Fresno, CA is affiliated with the University of California-San Francisco, Medical Education Program.  VACCHCS is a complexity level II medical center that supports three community-based outpatient clinics, located in Merced, Tulare and Oakhurst.  Fresno is located in the heart of California and is adjacent to three national parks, including Yosemite and year-round recreation.  Located in the Central Valley, we are a short, 2-4 hour, drive from several locations, such as San Francisco, Los Angeles and the Pacific Coast.  Fresno/Clovis continues to offer one of the most affordable housing markets in the state and has excellent primary and secondary schools.
