Parsons makes the world a safer placeNEEDS:Serves as the TSS Range-MOUT Sustainment and Operations Manager for the NTC-Fort Irwin Range Sustainment Task Order, this is a key management position which supports large scale multi-unit training events including elements of the combined arms team.Supervises on-site activities and staff, executes the project in accordance with the established Performance Work Statement (PWS) and accepted Task Order Execution Plan (TOEP). The Range-MOUT. Responsible to the On-Site COR, NTC and the Fort Irwin Range Officer for all elements of the PWS and deliverables, procurement actions and project financial health.Responsible to Parsons TSS Program Manager. Collaborates with Project Manager to establish project schedule and budget, and monitors progress in meeting schedule and budget requirements.Develops project documents, processes, and procedures required to support quality control and final project deliverables. Collaborates with Parsons TSS Project Manager to determine number of hours required for successful completion of project tasks.Anticipates project staffing needs, identifies and interviews available personnel, and makes staffing assignments in accordance with schedule requirements. Establishes objectives and conducts performance appraisals for direct reports. Establishes a project safety plan and ensures that it is communicated to all employees and subcontractors on the job site. Actively promotes and supports safety policies and monitors the job site for good safety practices. Establishes site security measures and monitors site access by subcontractors and others. Submits monthly reports to client, and responds to client issues and expectations. Anticipates problems and works with the Government, subcontractors, and the Parsons TSS Project Manager to identify and implement corrective actions. Keeps Government and Parsons Management informed of the day-to-day activities of the project. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION:4-year degree in a related discipline (or equivalent experience) plus (10) years of related work experience. Demonstrated relevant experience (academic, work, or combination of both) serving as a Range Manager at a major Army installation.Training Certification: Range Safety Officer
