CA basedLocation: US-CA-GlendaleJob Number:_505606Major Responsibilities* Track and respond to product requests received from internal customers (sales partners, product team members)* Ensure that items are researched and fully vetted out before addressing* Troubleshoots and helps answer questions.* Responds to questions through the Mailbox * Assist in completing analysis of our benefits vs. competitors/other carriers.* Works with the Governance Process, UW Team or Market Solutions to do analysis to determine differences between our standard plan vs. competiror plan. * Assists with product maintenance* FACET builds and audits* PRIME feed* Benefit summary process. * Creates basic reports* Pulling specific reports through business objects and/or Webi* Summarizing and developing basic analytics (percentages of various segments of the business/products/groups,and trends * Subject matter expert in understanding product portfolio and/or Regulatory environment (a plus would be strength in both categories)* General understanding on UHIC products and standards* General understanding of regulatory environment (what we can vs can''t do; what this means in our offering and how we administer our products in this manner)* Understanding of standard COC language and general understanding on bracketed langauge.* Prepare and document business process flows used towards product maintenance and/or the development of new products* Takes the Lead to work on development* Uses excel or visio to capture high level and detailed level flows* Reviews flows with downstream teams* Comfortable working in a matrix environment* Reaches out to Sales, Account Management, Client Ops, UW and other teams to facilitate communication* Lead small committees or project teams to support product management to ensure the successful implementation of strategic business solutions* Responsible to putting together small scope project plans* Lead and facilitate meetingsQualifications:  <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />* BS in Business or equivalent experience* 1-3 years business experience within the following areas: product management and development, account management, business/finance, marketing, research and systems information management and/or operations* Healthcare industry and/or financial service knowledge preferred* Background in dental a plus* Self-motivator, with a positive attitude and creative drive* Flexible and willing to take on new challenges* Ability to manage multiple priorities* Takes initiative to research product modification requests* Displays and uses some project management skills and tools* Ability to work with minimal supervision* Strong interpersonal and communication skills* Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills* Proficient with using Microsoft Word/Powerpoint/Visio/Access a plusWhen you work with UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual, what you do matters.
