To make your mark asSupervisor, Retail Accounting, you will: This position is responsible for:* Accounting, reporting and governance related to the Retail portfolio* Supporting major customers such as Corporate Reporting (SEC and iFEM) and business partners* Supervision and support of staff* Assisting the Accounting leadership team Primary Accountabilites:Financial:* Accountable for accurate and timely accounting and reporting for product under supervision* Ensure all account reconciliations are completed within Company guidelines* Ensure all account analysis is performed in a timely manner* Assist in review of financial results with management for product under supervision* Ensure compliance with all SOX controls and help maintain updated SOX documentation* Prepare and review general ledger journal entries* Evaluate business transaction for proper GAAP application* Propose and implement improvements to existing analyses and develop additional analyses and activity metrics to meet changing business and informational needs, e.g., Kaizen.Customer/Associate:* Supervise two staff* Assist in collaboration with business partners* Provide support related to requests for corporate accounting, tax and parent company* Aid PwC during all audit procedures* Aid Internal Audit when applicable* Coach and provide developmental opportunities for staff* Promote and support innovation & collaborationProjects:* Act as a technical accounting and host system SME* Support Company sponsored projects and initiativesSupervision/Management:* This position supervises a team of 2* Assist the Accounting leadership team in providing an environment in which associates can be successful* Promote and support collaboration and innovation* Aid in the growth and development of associates* Provide associates with regular feedback* Conduct Objective Setting, MAP, and Career Development sessions in accordance with Company prescribed timeline* Create an environment in which associates can share ideas and feel a sense of ownershipThe candidate who fills this position will have the option to work a 9/80 alternative schedule which means working 80 hours over nine calendar days, with the tenth day off. The day off will be alternating Fridays. TFS is looking for individuals with strong business sense and practical expertise.
