<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>General Engineering Contractor has an immediate
opening for an experienced Support Equipment
Mechanic.   This position will perform service and
maintenance on various fleet equipment in support
of construction operations.  Work will be
primarily performed in the field on job sites out
of a service truck.  Some work may be performed in
a shop facility on more extensive repairs.
Job Duties Include
1.Performing general maintenance and repair
on light and medium duty trucks and construction
equipment including oil changes, brake
inspections, and safety and illumination
equipment.
2.Diagnosis, repair and maintenance of
diesel trucks.
3.Maintaining company equipment in a field
environment.
4.Performing a variety of tasks related to
heavy/highway construction projects.
Applicants must have the following qualifications
Valid Class C California Drivers License
and clean driving record a DMV printout will be
requested on interview.  A Class A Drivers
License is preferred.
Experience in the repair and maintenance
of light and medium trucks.
Experience with diagnosis, troubleshooting
and repair of diesel engines.
Ability to troubleshoot and think quickly
to repair equipment in the safest manner possible.
Your own tools and diagnostic equipment.
Strong commitment to safety.
Ability to work varying shifts.
Field-based construction equipment repair
experience is desirable.
