With two vehicles flight proven, we have a $3 billion backlog of sold flights. The next critical phase is proving our ability to build rockets with increasing speed while maintaining quality in order to meet the markets high demand. We are looking to add manufacturing engineers throughout the company.Responsibilities* Assurance of sufficient, on-site critical machine spares for all factory production and machining equipment or ability to expedite spare parts to site within a 4 hour duration.* Creating, issuing, tracking and documenting the completion of all preventative maintenance (PM) schedules for all factory production and machining equipment.* Reporting of PM statistics on a weekly basis (scheduled per week, completed per week without action, completed per week with additional action etc.). * Follow up of all additional actions from PM schedules until complete, including the purchase and issue of any necessary spare parts.* Monitoring and reporting of the Technical availability of all pieces of equipment.* Trending performance, Pareto analysis of failure modes and subsequent adjustment of the PM schedule frequency in order to prevent reoccurrence.* Assurance of sufficient minimum stock holding of all maintenance consumable parts, their reordering, controlled issuing and storage.* Review of equipment specifications prior to purchase and the subsequent equipment buy-off of newly installed equipment, including the agreement on critical spares holding and warranty periods.* Creation of documented machine capability test requirements for each new machine installation to support final machine payments to vendors and confidence in equipment reliability. Requirements* High School Diploma or Associates Degree required.* Minimum 5-10 years managing maintenance in a high-volume manufacturing environment.* Strong mechanical/electrical background necessary.* Strong computer and math skills.* Experience with MRP/ERP systems is preferred.* Knowledge of Team center or other PLM software systems is desired.* Direct Knowledge of 3, 4, & 5 axis CNC milling and HTC & VTL machines required.* Knowledge of water jet, friction stir weld, and metal spinning machines is a plus.* Strong analytical and written skills. * Microsoft applications a must.* Possess excellent blue print reading skills and familiarity with
