<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Title: COORD-AUDITOR APC/AUDITOR-BUSINESS OFFICE -FULL TIMELocation: CA-IndioOther Locations: Under the direction of the Director of Revenue Analysis, the APC Coordinator is responsible for performing data quality review on outpatient accounts to review the CPT and HCPCS Level II code assignments, modifies APC grouping to ensure compliane with HCFA's APC regulations and billing rules. Conduct Mass audits, defense audits, and assist department Director with e-cdm inquiries.Five years experience in record auditing or hospital outpatient billing. One year experience in related healthcare area, e.g., HIM educationwith accreditation or certification (ART, CCS, or CPC) at a national level nursing, medical records, business office. Familiarity with the APC payment structure, UB92 claim form, hospital outpatient billing procedures and charge master. knowledge of the per diem/DRG reimbursement,CDM. PC proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Preferred:CA Licensed RN/LVNPersonal initiative and the ability to excersise good judgement in evaluating situationExcellent organizational skillsInquisitive nature and aptitude for detailed work
