JOB SUMMARY:

<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Immediate Care Department. MA performs basic technical, administrative and clerical services for a licensed physician in compliance with Section 2070 2071 of the Business and Professions Code and Title 16 of the Medical Practice Act in the State of California.
Requires high school diploma or equivalent and graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program. One year recent experience in a physicians office or clinic. Wound care experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology. BLS required within 60 days of hire. Good organizational skills. Excellent customer service and telephone skills. Ability to effectively communicate with others. Depending upon position, may require a current drivers license and auto insurance.
