Responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, directing and coordinating physician office personnel and activities and making decisions about daily and strategic operations of the multiple practices. Develops and works with all staff and physicians to ensure that practice goals are established and measured for attainment at least annually. Consistently seeks processes to improve efficiency in practice operations. Responsible for financial performance of practice including performance of all functions needed to achieve efficient and accurate management of practice''s financial matters. This includes monitoring financial performance against budget, internal and external benchmarks, and other performance indicators, and implementing changes to achieve established targets. Ensures compliance with Federal and State Statues, Health and Human Services, CMS, Tenet Corporate, and JFK policies, procedures, guidelines and requirements. Manages and supervises billing process, medical coding and charge recovery in accordance with CMS guidelines and in coordination with corporate programs and operational support entities. Identifies managed care business opportunities for the physician practice. Coordinates with physicians and office clinical personnel regarding the clinical programs of the practice to ensure effective operational, billing, personnel and strategic support to optimize clinical care and community relations. Coordinates with hospital administration and management personnel on matters relating to physician hospital privileges, clinical programs and community outreach services and programs. Coordinates with corporate management and participates in operational and strategic planning for the clinical and financial operations of multiple practices. Works collaboratively with Administration, Director, and Human Resources and provides guidance for staff related to complex office personnel issues. Provides reports of management and supervisory activities, projects and special assignments concerning physician practices and assigned special projects.A Bachelor's degree required. Master's Degree preferred.Advanced business training in related health/medical fieldCompetenceMinimum of three to five years of progressive clinic management experience is required with proven experience successfully managing a specific product line.
