<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Title: SUPPORT SUPERVISOR-RRT-FULL TIME-8HR DAYS-RESPIRATORYLocation: CA-IndioOther Locations:The Respiratory Supervisor is an allied health professional who, under the direction of the Medical Director and Manager of Respiratory Services, is responsible for providing Cardiopulmonary care in accordance with specific physician orders according to department policies and procedures to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. Responsible for routine calibration and quality control of blood gas analyzers. Performs diagnostic testing of the Cardiopulmonary system to aid the physician in diagnosis and treatment of heart & lung disorders. Uses analytical and problem solving abilities in patient care and use of equipment. Assists in clerical and reception duties. Participates in weekend, holiday and after hours on-call. Performs EKG&#39;s as needed. Uses effective verbal and written skills to communicate with people on all levels. Maintains positive working relationships with patient, families, co-workers (inter-and-intra-departmentally), and with physicians. Active listening and teaching skills are used to provide care and education to patients and families in a compassionate manner. Independently manages multiple priorities.The Cardiopulmonary Supervisor provides leadership and direction and supervises the activities of the Cardiopulmonary services personnel including the evaluation of staff; organization and prioritization of workload and staffing; analysis of supply and equipment needs. The Respiratory Supervisor assists the department manager in the development of and compliance with policies and procedures. The Cardiopulmonary Supervisor participates in departmental Performance Improvement and Monitoring activities as requested. The Respiratory Supervisor has influence over hiring and termination decisions and is fully responsible for performance and discipline decisions involving staff members.Graduate of a school of Respiratory CareLicensed in CaliforniaR.R.T. from the NBRCFive Years Experience in Acute Care       Current CPR, ACLS, PALS, & NRP certificationsBasic computer skills required.
