The Maintenance Technician will be under the direction of the Property Manager/Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for safely maintaining the physical condition and appearance of the community.<br><br>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<br>The following reflects managements definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Diagnosing problems of the grounds and community and making repairs<br>
Ensure all up keep, inventory and repairs of grounds, common areas, amenities, apartments and buildings of the community are in good working condition. <br>
Ensure all projects are done in a timely and cost efficient manner <br>
Be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use of hand tools and small power tools. <br>
Will ensure all maintenance activities follow OSHA and company safety policies at all times.<br><br>
QUALIFICATIONS<br>
Experience repairing and/or maintaining the flow are expected in<br>
Landscape Maintenance<br>
HVAC Certified<br>
Flooring<br>
Appliance Repair<br>
Electrical Systems<br>
Plumbing<br>
Carpentry<br>
Ability to manage multiple priorities and workflow<br>
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm, and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done<br>
Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams<br>
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines<br>
Ability to communicate effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels<br>
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions<br>
Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and guidance<br><br>
The ideal candidates will also have experience in Residential Maintenance, including apartment turns, maintaining appliance operation, groundskeeping, painting, light electrical, plumbing, light carpentry, sheetrock and other general repairs.  Salary is dependent on experience.<br><br>
