Responsible for development and monitoring of environmental and/or energy management programs. Oversees all environmental reporting requirements including hazardous waste management and reporting. Ensure permits are current and required documentation is maintained according to regulations and available to management, employees and auditors.RESPONSIBILITIES· Establish and maintain written programs/procedures/policies for compliance programs (hazard communications, spill preventions, etc.).· Prepare and submit regulatory reports to local, state, federal and corporate entities as required.· Ensure that the facility is in compliance with applicable environmental and safety requirements (customer, legal, corporate, other).· Provide written instruction to guide environmental and safety performance as needed throughout the facility.· Represent the site during regular and unannounced audits and agency visits.QUALIFICATIONS· Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering/Science or related field preferred and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through six or more years of related experience.
