These responsibilities include proactively driving marketing efforts to bring in new business. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of sales and administrative support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the challenges of supporting a sales organization.RESPONSIBILITIES:* Drive Sales* Schedule appointments* Plan, Execute, and Follow-up on Group Meetings (marketing, partnership, CE, etc)* Policy Reviews and Running Sales Illustrations* Sales Meeting file preparation* Follow-up calls/e-mails on meetings and illustrations* Superior Customer Service* Build strong and meaningful relationships with AE, FA, Assistants* Company Liaison and Problem Solver for AE, FA, and Assistants* Help train and educate AE, FA, and Assistants on forms and process* Operational* Case management/follow-up (i.e. look at inventory and make sure cases are moving along)* Handle general administrative tasks (mail, expenses, ordering supplies, etc)* Minimum of 2 years sales support experience in the financial services industry* Life Insurance technical knowledge required (insurance products, features, & products)* A.A. Degree or equivalent preferred* Takes initiative to solve customer problems* Works independently* Excellent customer service skills* Must possess a positive and motivational attitude* Understands sales concepts and case design* Subject matter expert on presale and post sale process* Demonstrated ability to build solid business relationships with Brokers, Field and Home Office* Solid understanding of Microsoft Office software * Solid office management and organizational skills WHY JOIN THE HARTFORD?The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc.
