Education/Experience -
*  High School Diploma or BA/BS Degree.
*  Prior experience providing information and referral services or related experience in the human service field is desirable.
Required skills -
*  Bilingual English and Spanish - verbal and written is required.
*  Independent decision making skills.
*  Professional communication skills verbal and written.
*  Ability to maintain a calm and sensitive demeanor.
*  Reading comprehension and analytical skills.
*  Possess skills in proper telephone etiquette.
*  Positive attitude with a passion for helping those in need.
Primary duties -
*  Provide information and referral services to clients contacting 2-1-1- OC through the phone hotline using a specialized database.
