<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Title: Sales Account Manager - Southern CaliforniaLocation: North America-United States-CA-IrvineJob Number:_TEK001838In this role, you will be asked to:* Exceed target for your territory under designated budget each fiscal year.* Develop a Territory Sales Plan that focuses on key accounts and sales stimulus activities including planned seminars, product shows, and mailings.* Profile and penetrate key organizations within named accounts.* Profile, call on and develop relationships with key executives (Directors, VP&#39;s, etc).* Understand customer organizations by department, function, strategies, and key programs.* Master the basic features and benefits of our primary products, including Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators.* Identify and sell into new and existing applications for Tektronix products.* Effectively utilize sales resources including applications engineers, channel partners, inside sales support, and customer service reps.Qualifications include:* Demonstrated track record of successful high-technology sales (minimum 3 years of experience).* Demonstrated success prospecting for and closing new business.* Highly motivated and success driven.* Strong knowledge of high speed serial applications, high-speed digital design, and data communications.* Fully developed tactical sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, closing, and growing existing customers).* Strong communication and presentation skills.* Excellent time and territory management habits.* Experience with personal computer, e-mail, and Microsoft Office programs.* BSEE or equivalent; M.B.A. strongly desired.* Must be a US Citizen This position&#39;s primary/essential functions are subject to US Government ITAR compliance requirements under current government contracts.
