We have an immediate need for aSenior Financial Analyst. This position will be located in our Irvine, CA headquarters.The ideal candidate will assist in the monthly consolidation and analysis of global financial information, including P&L, Asset Performance, Cashflow, etc, utilizing Hyperion Financial Management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Additional duties include interfacing with worldwide finance personnel, assisting operations management in understanding financial performance, preparing monthly staff meeting presentations, and assisting in quarterly communication with Emerson HQ. In addition, this position will help in planning annual budget targets and performing ad hoc research & analysis as needed. This position requires excellent communication skills as the candidate will interface with top executives at Rosemount Analytical.Job RequirementsThe position requires a BA or BS degree in accounting, finance or closely related field. An MBA/CPA is preferred. Three to five years financial analysis experience in a Big 4 Accounting firm or manufacturing environment is preferred plus an understanding of general accounting theories and practices is required. Excellent MS Excel/PowerPoint skills and expertise in a state of the art business system are needed and knowledge of Hyperion (HFM) is preferred. Success is based on analytical aptitude, ability to see data relationships, and skill in conveying thoughts. The position requires the ability to find, identify and resolve data problems and demonstrate an appreciation for accuracy. The candidate must be organized, a self starter and an independent worker.
