For more information, please visit www.aspjj.com or follow us at www.Twitter.com/aspjj.The Senior Financial Analyst, Development Finance will report to the Senior Finance Manager, WW Pipeline and Analytics. This position has the potential to have multiple touch points to the business including; supporting the Business Unit Leadership Teams (BULT), evaluating R&D projects, and driving the Global Marketing Team aligned to the BULT structure. Core responsibilities include providing financial data as well as insights and analytics to help the BULT prioritize and deliver business commitments. In addition, this role will partner with Project Management Teams to cost out development projects and ensure alignment to customer needs and meeting financial targets. This will consist of preparation of business recommendations based on financial analysis, challenging and advising business partners on suggested courses of action, and proactively seeking out areas of improvement and increased efficiency in process and modeling. Additionally, this role will also have components of the Annual, Quarterly & Monthly Forecasting and Updates process (Delivering robust, accurate business plans that are aligned with business strategies) and Monthly Close Responsibilities (Reporting actual results, prepare actual versus forecast analyses, meet with business partners to discuss BVA, book journal entries, research and book accruals. Support development of departmental monthly reporting packages to business partners. Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations and completion of SOx activities as required.)QualificationsA minimum of a bachelors degree is required, preferably in Accounting or Finance. A MBA is preferred. A CPA, CMA, or other financial certifications are preferred. A minimum of three years finance or related business experience is required. Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer products industries as well as public accounting is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) is required. Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) experience is preferred. Candidate must possess excellent analytical, conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required. Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Candidate must exhibit a high level of autonomy as demonstrated via independent decision-making, prioritizing workload and project management skills. Up to 10% travel is required.
