Positions develop strategies and tactical plans to support consumer/member innovation, support new product and program launches, and combat competitive pressures. May analyze economic considerations, develop marketing forecasts, estimate costs, and manage program/project budgets.Primary Responsibilities:* Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements.* Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems.* Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses.W* orks with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks.* Translates concepts into practice.* Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues.* Coaches, provides feedback, and guides others.* Acts as a resource for others with less experience.* Build Campaigns using Unica* Work with marketing managers to understand campaign requirements and translate them into technical design and implementation documents.* Responsible for managing all operational aspects of member-facing campaign development, specifically: tactical planning, data set-up, customer list pulls, implementation, quality assurance and tracking of all campaigns.* Must be familiar with the concepts of a relational database and an enterprise contact management solution:* Concepts of audience level* Development of offers and offer attributes* Use of strategic segments* Creation of macros and derived fields* Troubleshooting, performance-tuning and UAT of flowcharts* Work with the Database* Work with the Data Warehouse team to build and optimize the underlying data set required to target various customer segments.* Utilize SQL queries to provide ad-hoc analysis as needed.* Work with Stakeholders and Peers* Assist business stakeholders with developing direct marketing contact strategy, including list sourcing recommendations, creation of test/control design, analysis and application of best practices to email and other direct marketing campaigns.* Collaborate with marketing team to innovate new ideas around member campaign design, marketing approach and campaign efficiency to optimize performance.* Ensure that campaigns are design so that rapid testing and learning is possible, to enable quick strategic shifts based on business need.* Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed.* Works with less structured, more complex issues.* Serves as a resource to others.Qualifications:Requirements:* Bachelor''s Degree OR a high school diploma/GED with 5 years Marketing or Database Management experience* 5 years marketing experience in a matrix environment* Previous experience working with marketing campaign tools (i.e. Unica Campaign Tool, SQL, or similar)* 2 years of experience building marketing campaigns using data analysis* 1 year of experience working with business intelligence tools (i.e. Business Objects, Microstrategy, or Cognos)* Intermediate (or higher) proficiency with MS Excel and AccessAssets:* Previous experience in the healthcare industry* Previous experience working with transactional data, direct mail data, web data, or telemarketing dataOptumRx is part of the family of companies that makeUnitedHealth Groupone of the leaders across most major segments of the US health care system.If you''re ready to talk about groundbreaking interactions, let''s talk about what happens when a firm that touches millions of lives decides to gather results from millions of prescriptions every month and analyze their impact.
