<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Auto req ID 21617BRJob Posting Title Sr Manager, Cyber Security*Business Unit Information ServicesJob Description POSITION SUMMARY: The position will be a direct report to the Chief Information Security Officer and is responsible for the cyber security strategy for Broadcom, focused on protecting the intellectual property from the advanced external threats. We are looking for a self-motivated, experienced cyber expert to grow our program and department to the meet the escalating needs of fortune 500 R&D company.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:&middot;    Evaluate the ongoing external threat factors and assess possible impact to Broadcom&middot;    Recommend changes to the current strategy and program based on external threat factors and known good cyber protection initiatives&middot;    Work with the necessary infrastructure teams to evaluate Broadcom&rsquo;s overall security posture against to meet the needs of appropriate cyber security&middot;    Develop detailed remediation reports and recommendations for compliance and security improvements across industries based on changing threats.Build relationships within each BU to understand necessary engineering data flow and recommend changes to protect from cyber threats&middot;    Manage the team, strategy, and budget to be aligned with business goalsJob Requirements BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:&middot;    8 years of related experience in cyber security, at least 4 years managing a technical team&middot;    Must understand the anatomy of external attacks and how to evaluate a program against the effectiveness of each stage of an attack&middot;    Technical understanding of how information security technologies apply in defending against cyber attacks&middot;    Basic knowledge of coding and of reverse engineering malicious code&middot;    Ability to effectively communicate technical data and threats to a variety of audiences which may or may not be technical&middot;    Budget management experience&middot;    Experience with cyber security methodologies&middot;    Project Management experience&middot;    Methodically gather, document, and present specific customer requirements.Carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision&middot;    Must be attentive to detail and quality.Ability to work within a highly stressful, fast paced environment&middot;    Demonstrate excellent technical skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:&middot;    BA or BS degree&middot;    Preferred previous government cyber intelligence experience&middot;    Preferred private sector experience&middot;    Preferred security clearance&middot;    CISSP and complimentary cyber certificationsCountry United StatesState/Province CaliforniaCity/Town IrvineShift 1st Shift - DayPercent of Travel Required 10% - 25%Function ITDiscipline Information Security
