As a Senior Planning Analysis, the incumbent will report and develop information and analysis in support of finance group functions including: development of annual plans, quarterly forecasts and business reviews, and business case formation and analysis.? The Senior Planning Analyst will also be responsible for accessing information in various financial systems and company databases to analyze, prepare and present financial and business analysis to senior management as necessary.? Additionally, the Senior Planning Analyst will take the lead in identifying and consolidating cost saving opportunities and related best practice sharing throughout the organization.? The person will participate in maintaining and developing performance metrics of programs, projects, and business functions.?ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Building financial models that will provide a consistent process for evaluating opportunities* Providing analytical and project management support for the annual budget cycle* Validating firm-wide monthly expense results, analyze trends, and determine key drivers of variance to firm wide forecasts* Developing ad-hoc financial reports and models for senior management to aid in effective planning/?forecasting and performance evaluation for various key metrics* Working with department leadership to identify and model growth opportunities* Conducting ad hoc financial analysis for Executive Management TeamJob Requirements :QUALIFICATIONS* Undergraduate degree in Finance or related business field* Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a finance or accounting based role, 1+?years of direct budgeting and forecasting experience with demonstrated knowledge of budget management procedures* Sound understanding of finance and accounting principles* Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills* Competent quantitative/analytical skills* Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing, in a diverse multicultural environment* Ability to support deadlines and work with minimal supervision* Must be flexible to work in a fluid and dynamic environment***Qualified applicants (internal and external) must currently possess legal authorization to work in the United StatesDESIRED ATTRIBUTES* Demonstrated leadership, strategic vision and analytical skills* Superior professionalism, discretion, and judgment* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail* Willingness to draw conclusions and defend a point of view* Demonstrated ability to communicate with senior leadership effectively* Willingness to demonstrate initiative and independence and the ability to provide quality internal client services* Exemplary service ethic embodying the Spirit of Generosity (highest standard of service and professionalism)LANGUAGE SKILLSEnglish is the principal language for this position.
