They will provide sales and technical leadership in the development and implementation of customer account plans and strategy development, ensuring partner technical readiness and VTSP integration into Corporate Accounts, as well as direct accountability Scorecard and Competitive priorities. Additionally, a successful Corporate Accounts SSM will have strong cross group collaboration skills as the role will required collaboration across US, Regional, Area and EPG STU leadership.Summary of Job Responsibilities:Develop High-Performing Teams Who Meet or Exceed Quota and Scorecard targets: Success in this job deliverable is measured by quota being met or exceeded across all SSP assigned opportunities by ensuring the delivery of customer-centric, solution-focused sales engagements; competitive and Microsoft workload/solution area readiness; the expansion of sales engagement resources including partners.Manage a Valid, Healthy SSP Team Pipeline: Tasks include the review, analysis, and coordination of team plans; and ensuring the right team members are ready and able to execute. Additional key tasks include prioritizing opportunities so team members are allocated appropriately, holding regular pipeline review meetings and meeting regularly with key customers. Success is measured by evaluation/engagement plan comprehensiveness and accuracy, and by quotas that are met or exceeded.Collaborate deeply to ensure a Healthy Partner Ecosystem: Tasks include optimizing a partner engagement strategy through pipeline reviews, ensuring that the SSP team engages with the Managed Partner team processes, and prioritizes partner engagement in all Corporate Accounts opportunities.Build and maintain a Motivated Team of High-Performing SSPs: The primary tasks are to ensure and facilitate the implementation of SSP roles and teams and to develop and communicate a vision that helps the team understand how they will make plan. Other tasks involve completing the performance development and appraisal processes; ensuring readiness plans are in place and that readiness offerings are completed by team members; and coaching team members and facilitating peer-to-peer mentoring.Competencies & Skills Desired:Leadership skills, particularly as they relate to managing strategic issues such as revenue growth, competitive challenges, technology trends and partner integration.Executive level communication skills and the ability to mentor others.Advanced understanding of enterprise solution selling and the application of the Microsoft Solution Selling Process (MSSP).Combination of business acumen expertise and technology knowledge to understand how customer business issues impact their IT environments.Coaching direct reports in pipeline management, opportunity management, planning and career/personal development.Facilitating/encouraging cross-team account and resource planning.Hiring high potential employees who align with current requirements and can grow into future requirements and roles.Experience & Education:8-10 years of field-based sales, technical sales or sales management with a proven track record of results both exceeding quota and leading and developing people.Previous management experience preferred.Experience working in a complex sales environment, including deep understanding of the partner ecosystem and collaborating with others for results.BA or BS degree in business, MBA Preferred.
