Achieve revenue and customer goals by developing relationships with prospective clients and maintaining long-term relationships with existing clients.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONDevelop and build a named account list of new and existing enterprise level clients. Prospect for new clients within assigned territory and develop new revenue from existing clients by selling new sites and additional servicesDevelop a long-term, professional relationship with the decision maker of every named accountDevelop and present custom solutions to clients. Bundle primary and ancillary services to provide additional value.Build business case for redundant rings to existing clients. Include new clients along the proposed ring or fiber route. Sell redundancy to existing clients (as well as new clients along the redundant route) when business case meets ROI requirements  Attend regional business expos and technology events to meet with perspective and existing clients and gauge competitionCoordinate with the network sales engineer to create and present proposals that successfully meet our clients communications requirementsManage the long and complex sales cycle for the customer to close the sale and provide effective businessWork with Major Account Administrator to ensure that all necessary administrative work necessary to support sales activities including sales orders, contracts, billing forms and sales reports are accurate and submitted in a timely mannerHand off customer service and non-sales related client inquiries to the Major Account Administrator to maintain a focus on sellingPerform other duties as requested by supervisor<?xml:namespace prefix = o />PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSSkills/Abilities and KnowledgeAbility to effectively build and manage a named account list of enterprise level clientsAbility to communicate orally and in writing in clear and straightforward mannerAbility to maintain confidentiality Ability to prioritize and organize effectivelyAbility to use personal computer and software applicationsAbility to acquire large business level clientsAbility to sell advance business solutions to enterprise level clientsKnowledge of basic advertising principlesAdvanced knowledge of Network "Topologies" SONET, ATM, Ethernet, Frame, ISDN, IMA, and all speedsKnowledge of communications technologies and services (I.E.
