In an effort to support our rapidly expanding eCommerce team, we are sourcing an experienced Website Manager to become the newest members of our team. Our dynamic team strives to enhance the customers shopping experience, and is driven not to be the biggest, but the BEST.The Senior Website Manager is technical position responsible for managing the overall eCommerce team as well as both the front and back-end of the site. Responsibilities:* Maximize site performance and enhance the consumer online shopping experience on Sportchalet.com by leading the planning, scheduling, deployment , execution, and maintenance of all site content.* Manage the timely deployment of all e-marketing and merchandising campaign content on the web site.* Participate in the development and prioritization of Site experience changes and updates, utilizing site analytics tools and other performance data* Develop, maintain and communicate Site Update schedules and processes* Oversee and be responsible for QA testing and deployment of product, content, campaign and promotion updates to the web site* Oversee the management of third party service providers hosting web content and other site assets* Develop full proficiency and expertise in using the Web Site Administration tool* Work independently to develop creative solutions to challenges* Operate in a high-intensity environment* Use your knowledge and experience to achieve business goals while maintaining the integrity and quality of the projects you manage* Maintain operational excellence while being a central piece to the successful ongoing operation, presence, and effectiveness of the website while enhancing the customer’s shopping experience.* Create and manage site and e-marketing production schedules.* Develop and oversee an effective planning, QA, and change deployment process for content across the website* Launch e-marketing campaigns to efficiently , and accurately* Review site documentation (creative briefs, project plans, test plans, etc.).* Interact daily with an internal staff of Art Directors, Web Specialists, Merchants, Marketers, and Planners to coordinate all site and e-marketing campaigns.* Relied upon to carry out all assignments with exceptional attention to detail.* Ensure consistent branding, image and content delivery across the Sportchalet.com website.* Coordinate site launches and/or traffic-driving events with the development team.* Coach, guide and develop direct reports and create an environment where employees are encouraged to perform at their potential* Build cross-functional partnerships with key functions such as print production, brand creative, merchandising, customer contact center, and MIS, to ensure smooth and efficient processes.* Conduct usability testing to balance business goals and objectives with customer experience.* Act as the primary customer advocate, ensuring the best possible customer experience.* Generate ideas for improving engagement and satisfaction with the site based on analysis of customer feedback.* Evaluate, critique and contribute to information design and content organization* Prepare and distribute website performance reports weekly* Participate in reporting, planning and budgetingSkills / RequirementsSKILLS SUMMARY:* Strong online production and/or project management skills and experience required; ability to prioritize work with a sense of urgency/ownership and meet deadlines.* Must be able to adapt to rapidly shifting priorities in fast-paced environment; respond quickly to changing business needs/timelines and completing quality proj
