This position will develop and implement activities to ensure that we are effectively selling ADP solutions through specific partners and resellers and will be responsible for collaborating with Channel Marketing, Business Development and Partner Management to drive channel sales within their respective Division and/or Area. Provides sales support for division/area sales leadership with channel education, measurement and performance. Results will be measured by performance against target for areas of responsibility ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES1. Drive sales in territory to meet channel sales quotas. 2. Implement and execute marketing and opportunity identification programs. 3. Assist with sales education and training relative to channel sales and third party influence of channel sales partners. Co-host training sessions such as seminars, breakfast clubs, lunch and learns, etc. 4. Participate in joint end user calls as the ADP channel sales liaison. 5. Report market information regarding competitors’ efforts in the channel, sales inhibitors, and successes in the field. 6. Champion and interface between partner development and management and other functional ADP groups (field sales, telesales, services, marketing, etc.) 7. Drive involvement of channel partners in sales process with sales leadership through periodic reviews with focus on: activity Standards and referral activity (inbound/outbound lead flow), partner updates and campaigns 8. Communication: Provide progress update to Sr. Sales Leadership (DVP/ AVP/ ASE) 9. Work closely with and provide update and feedback to Channel Sales group at ES level. Experience, Skills, Academic: Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business Administration preferred.Experience: 5+ experience in a product or channel marketing position or field sales experience in a wide geographic area. Previous business services and/or business software experience a plus. Generic Skills:Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills are required. Ability to conceptualize, negotiate and sell ideas internally and externally is essential. Ability to generate and implement concepts, ideas, and plans while functioning in a flexible, constantly changing environment is necessary. Must be a strong team player.
