pipelines  terminal projects and maintenance
activities in accordance with BP Engineering
Technical Practices and standardized processes.
Responsible for completing the required
documentation and assurance steps.
Assembles and leads a diverse team to plan and
execute projects on the West Coast.
Identifies opportunities to improve execution
efficiency and reduce cost.
Forecasts the cost and the schedule for the
projects and communicate any changes to the
stakeholders.
Develops Funding Decision Support Packages
Project Authorization Forms.
Interacts with Key Customers to develop inspection
plan and expectations regarding timing of outages.
Manages multiple contractors and coordinate
activities with BP Operations team members.
Accountable for utilizing cost effective approach
to complete projects within a specified timeframe.
Accountable for transfer of documentation to
documentation retention center.
Attends and participates in Front End Loading
FEL project review meetings and maintains
communications with the local and other locations
across USPL.
Continuous education  attend classes and industry
forums aimed at staying abreast of latest
technology and trends.
Familiar with industry piping and mechanical
standards and regulatory requirements including
DOT.
Essential Education- BS or higher in an
Engineering Discipline from an accredited college,
Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred.
Essential experience and job requirementsAt
least 6 years of terminals, pipelines and/or
refinery esperience.
At least 3 years of relevant project management
experience handling multiple projects in a fast
pace environment.
Engineering and project management experiences
must be directly related to the oil and gas energy
related businesses.
