JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the timely production of assigned work at contract site and maintaining the work area in a safe and orderly condition.  Responsible for documentation, supervision, and instruction of consumers in a vocational setting.  Instructs clients on janitorial and lawn maintenance tasks and safe use of equipment.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for compliance with standards as outlined in the contract,Provides quality and quantity of production.
Ensures safe and orderly work environment
Organizes area, materials and equipment to ensure efficiency and safety,Responsible for upkeep of equipment,completes contract work and ensures safety of contract sites,assists in time studies,Makes pickups and deliveries of materials as assigned and other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE -
21 years or older
Valid California Drivers License
Acceptable driving record
Ability to role model for clients in socially appropriate behavior and attitudes
Ability to work a flexible schedule
High school diploma
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time as there is little or no sitting in the course of the workday
Sufficient endurance to withstand strenuous work
Dexterity sufficient to complete various contract tasks and provide effective training for clients
Ability to lift 50 pounds and carry with ample balance so as not to present a danger to self or others
Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling without clumsy or dangerous movements
Good vision and hearing to monitor client activity, task completion, record client and contract data, and guarantee safe work practices
Good general health and mobility
Ability to tolerate long periods of exposure to sun and cold
MENTAL ABILITIES
Ability to understand and translate instructions into production and training activities
Ability to communicate with low functioning clients and supervisor
Basic math skills to complete consumer records, production records and time cards
Writing skills to complete reports and consumer ID Notes
Ability to be observant and have flexibility to handle multiple tasks
Judgment necessary to make decisions relative to production, service quality and safety
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
Reports to Lead Training Supervisor or Program Manager
